Temple Grandin was a girl that was born on August 29, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts. Temples mother had found out she was sick at the age of 2. Temple had brain problems, Autism, and rare behavior. This is a characteristic of her visual memory. Temple Grandin compares her memory to full length movies, allowing her to notice little details. Temple is also allowed to slightly view different contexts by changing positions of lighting and shadows. Temple Grandin didn't like when people would give her hugs. She was able to start speaking at the age of 4. She didn't have no boyfriend , she was never married & she never had any children. Temple went to Franklin Pierce College in 1970 and earned her bachelor's degree. Temple would be frightened when she would see a sliding door open. Since temple didn't like to be hugged, she made a device which she would go through and would squeeze her and was called "The Squeeze box". She invented this device when she was 18 years old. This box was a type of relief from stress or when something was wrong. This device was related to cows , to calm the cows down.
After temple graduated from college , she became very famous. Temple invented the "Hug box" to calm those from from autism spectrum. Temple was very helpful. She helped farm animals, she designed a number of inventions. These inventions used behavioral principals rather than access force to control animals. Temple would also help animals out by them not getting hurt and center track restraint system. Temple Grandin also invented livestock handling facilities around the world. Temple didn't only invent and design things but she was also a writer, she made books about autism.
When you see obstacles as opportunities and allow yourself to learn from those experiences because it's good to learn new thing through out your life and many other things. As you grow up you learn new things and experience different obstacles.
